Day 93 (October 4th, 2010)
Title: Riffle Shuffle

I was lucky sufficient to be invited to a poker game final night and unlucky sufficient to be out 2nd. Nonetheless, that gave me a lot of additional time to take photos! I also had a excellent notion for subsequent weeks photos (Ooo! Foreboding!). So, fundamentally it was a .00 brainstorming night! I did get beautiful totally free &quotadult beverages&quot, so I feel that a lot more than created up for it.

This particular photo is of a &quotriffle&quot shuffle, which is when you generally split the deck, then use your thumbs to just lift up on corner of each and every pile the cards and &quotriffle&quot them together. Its also recognized as a &quotdealer shuffle&quot, since it is the regular (and preferred) technique of shuffling in a casino. It takes practice and a very good deck of cards, but once you get the hang of it you look all kinds of cool when you do it!

I wish I could have gotten greater lighting on it, but I tried with just the typical flash and it blew out all of the specifics, so I just went with the darker version so the feel of it would be much better.
